“Buy Me” Coffee Packaging

I am apparently an enabler. Popular wisdom says this is a bad quality. Let’s back up. I am a lifelong coffee drinker. Well, not my entire life, but I did convince the counselors at summer camp when I was 12 that I was allowed to drink coffee at home. I was already 5′ 9″ so the usual reasoning, coffee will stunt your growth, wasn’t a concern in my case. The counselors bought it. I can be very earnest. When I came home from summer camp I told my mom that I’d been drinking coffee for a month, and so she too relented and let me have a cup of caffeine in the morning.

My partner recently began a graduate program while also working full time. He was not a coffee drinker before this time, preferring the gentler caffeine buzz of a cup of Earl Grey tea, but the thought of coffee was tickling his brain. He  took one sip of an over sugared coffee one morning, and next thing I knew he was brewing a cup everyday. He has since become so enamored of the dark brew that we now simultaneously maintain 3 varietals of coffee.

While I have always sufficed with whatever roasts I encounter in the grocery store and local shops, he is far more interested in exploring the possibilities. We have not yet reached the point of having coffee shipped to our home, but given the “buy me” look of this packaging, I won’t be surprised to find a pungent package on our doorstep one of these afternoons.

Tonx Coffee is a coffee delivery service that sources, roast and ships lovely beans guaranteed to be delicious whatever your coffee brewing method should be.
