I took a day off from work and am being remarkably lazy. Sometimes you need those days. Beside making lunch, I did have one other activity; I played Risk. My opponent had never played Risk as a board game before – only on the computer. Normally, I’m not a competitive person. If I lose a game, that’s OK. I may win the next one. There’s something about Risk though. Maybe because it’s the game of world domination. Maybe because I almost never win Risk. I get bent of of shape when I’m losing and I gloat when I’m winning. I really need to work on this if I want to continue playing Risk because with that attitude no one wants to play with me more than once. Maybe I should start playing against the computer. It won’t care when I get mad at it – at least not until those scientists figure out how to give computers emotions.
