I very recently purchased a food processor. This photograph does not depict a food processor, it’s a stand mixer, but it was the best I could do at the spur of the moment. 

I had a food processor for a long time. I moved without it, thinking I could still prepare the same delicious meals without it. Technically this is true, if you like everything to take 4 times as long as it did when you had the appliance. I haven’t had he opportunity to use it yet, but I gave it a happy hug after unpacking it and have peeked in the cabinet a couple times since to see how it’s getting on with the other appliances. Everything appears to be going swimmingly.

While it wasn’t in my mind during time of purchase, I now have an urgent need for a machine that can prepare smooth foods for a friend post oral surgery. Quite unfortunate for my companion, but a great first time out for my new appliance.
