Sometimes it the small the changing details, that differ from place to place when traveling, that make a new place exciting to see. Since I tend to photograph those small details, I often don’t absorb the differences or see the theme in them until after the trip. A town with be filled with different colors than another only miles away, subtle changes in the shape of a protective railing, the tiles on a roof, the cars on the road.
The pastel on pastel colors caught my eye when visiting the pier. It made for a stark contrast against the grey, white capped stormy seas that day.
