The local Farmers’ market moves from its indoor winter location to it’s outdoor location tomorrow! It’s Massachusetts so the full vegetable bounty won’t be present until July, but we’ll still have fresh local greens (pea tendrils from the Korean family, mmmm), berries and other early harvest. The market began with vegetables and fruit but has rapidly expanded. You can now find local bread, cheese, eggs (fresh local eggs are amazing), chocolate, meat, fish and shellfish. I see spicy mussels with a lovely salad of greens with nasturtiums in my near future. The one trick will be getting out of bed early enough to get the full array before everyone else buys the choice items.
